Blue Bell releases new Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream

BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) – Blue Bell has released a new ice cream flavor available Thursday.

The company describes it as a rich cheesecake ice cream blended with chocolate cookie crusted cheesecake pieces and chocolate crème-filled cookies.

The following is a press release with details about Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake ice cream.

This year is the 40th anniversary of National Ice Cream Month. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday as National Ice Cream Day (July 21).

The following year, July 30 officially became National Cheesecake Day. “Of course, we enjoy ice cream every day at Blue Bell, but to make July a little extra special, we have introduced our new Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream,” said Sara Schramm, marketing brand manager.

We combined our crème-filled cookies with cheesecake ice cream and kicked it up another notch with the chocolate cookie crusted cheesecake pieces. A delicious treat in every bite.” Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream is available in the half gallon and pint sizes for a limited time.
