B/CS Habitat for Humanity to host Run for the House
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – B/CS Habitat for Humanity will once again host Run for the House, a 5K run or 2K walk.
The event takes place on Saturday, April 20, beginning at 8 a.m. at Lake Walk in Bryan.
“It’s a 5K chipped run, so it’s timed,” Carl Orozco, with B/CS Habitat for Humanity said “So for anyone training for a half-marathon or a full marathon… you can use it as a marker to see your pacing.”
There is also a 2K walk for anyone who wants to support and doesn’t want to run.
“It’s really pretty out there, great sidewalks and everything. We’re going to have a lot of volunteers, water station,” Orozco said.
The entry fee is $20.
