B/CS Chamber announces Community Impact Award winners
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Three local business owners will be honored for breaking boundaries and succeeding in the Brazos Valley.
This year’s recipients of the Community Impact Awards are Laura Leon Law, Amelia McCracken with Ment Marketing Services, and Dr. Jennifer Hathaway, D.D.S.
The Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce started the Community Impact Award program in 2003 to recognize Hispanic, African-American, Asian, American-Indian and Women business owners who have demonstrated a significant impact on our community.
The Community Impact Awards luncheon is Tuesday, February 27 at 11:45 a.m. at Pebble Creek Country Club.
Other Chamber events happening this month include a Business After Hours hosted by the Texas A&M Foundation on Thursday, February 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The free evening of networking is complete with drinks, food, and door prizes.
Also, join the B/CS Chamber of Commerce at The Brazos Center on Monday, February 12 at 6 p.m. to hear from local community members running for office in the upcoming election. The event is free and open to the public. Only contested races will be featured in the forum.
Moderated by Scott DeLucia, the forum will be livestreamed at KBTX.com.
