American Red Cross hosting two blood drives in early July
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The American Red Cross Heart of Texas Chapter will host two blood drives in early July.
The first will take place on Tuesday, July 2, and the second on Saturday, July 6 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Jennifer Young, the Executive Director of the American Red Cross Serving the Heart of Texas Chapter said the summer months are especially hard when it comes to blood donations.
“You run into holidays, you run into record travel, and of course, there is the potential for disasters happening throughout the country, as we’ve seen,” Young said.

The blood drive will take place at the Red Cross Office located at 4244 Boonville Rd. in Bryan.
