A&M Women’s Chorus to sing songs of joy at spring concert

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – It’s the 45th year of the Texas A&M Women’s Chorus and they are celebrating with their spring concert.

The women will perform a collection of works that reflect the theme: “My Heart and Soul, Sing Out!” which will include some of their former singers.

Their performance will feature pieces such as “Swing Low Sweet Chariot,” “Music Down in my Soul” and “the Awakening.”

The Texas A&M Women’s Chorus Spring Concert is Saturday, April 13 at 7 p.m. at Rudder Theatre.

Tickets are free for Texas A&M students and $10 for General Admission.

The group is raising money for their international tour to Sweden, Finland and Estonia in May.
