A&M experts talk research affecting society during speaker showcase
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Five minutes. Twelve speakers. One purpose.
The Texas A&M School of Education and Human Development is hosting its annual speaker showcase called Voices of Impact on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
Faculty will share their expertise on issues affecting society in a way that is accessible to everyone.
The event will feature 12 speakers sharing five-minute insights into their research and its impact on society.
Topics include the influence of E-sports on mental well-being, how tracking fatigue can benefit our troops, and the ways money is changing college athletics.
Pre-event cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. Speakers will take the stage from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., and a reception will immediately follow.
Voices of Impact will take place in the Memorial Student Center’s Bethancourt Ballroom at Texas A&M University.
