A&M Consolidated, College Station high schools hold annual March-A-Thon fundraisers
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The A&M Consolidated (AMCHS) and College Station High School (CSHS) bands and color guards will celebrate the back-to-school season with an annual March-A-thon.
“The funds raised go so our bands can get new instruments and help students who want to be in band,” said CSHS Band Fundraising Chair, Hayden Riley.
This Saturday, the CSHS band will hold its event at the HEB Tower Point location from 8:30 – 10:30 am.
Next Saturday August 10, The AMCHS Band and Color Guard will march through Pebble Creek starting at 9 a.m., and Mission Ranch in the afternoon.
“It supports great opportunities for these kids that some of the district funds cant help with,” said President of AMCHS band, Clayton Rhoades.
Everyone is welcome to join the event. Students will be accepting donations during the marches as well, and they will have QR codes to receive funds.
