Aggies Against Cancer to host Relay for Life event

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – It’s an all-day walk in the fight against cancer.

Aggies Against Cancer is hosting a Relay for Life event at Texas A&M on Saturday, April 20 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Aggie Park.

Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser cancer walk for the American Cancer Society, a proud partner of Aggies Against Cancer.

The fundraiser consists of teams and at least one person from each team will be walking around a relatively short, designated path for the entirety of the event.

They will have live music, vendors, food trucks, and a luminaria ceremony to honor survivors and remember those who lost their lives to cancer.

Donations are welcome for those unable to attend the event but still want to be part of the cause. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
