Wheels, Watches & Whiskey event takes over Lakewalk
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Saturday is the day to check out exotic cars, luxury watches, and delicious whiskey up close.
Wheels Watches & Whiskey is an event presented by The Gentleman Racer and McLaren. That’s Saturday, August. 17 from 7 to 10 p.m.
“It all goes together, the guys who like supercars tend to like watches and also tend to like fine whisky,” said event presenter, Michael Satterfield.
The event has grown since last year and will be held at the Stella Hotel and all over Lakewalk, assuring to have rare gems on display.
“Everything from vintage Mercedes, to the latest from McLaren,” Satterfield promised. “It’s really an opportunity for people who don’t get a chance to see a lot of these vehicles to get up close and personal with them.”
Attendees will see luxury and classic cars, bid on watches, and take part in whiskey tastings.
The event is also a fundraiser for OnRamp and its mission to help individuals and families in the Brazos Valley who are in urgent need of reliable transportation.
“It’s really sweet to have people who are buying on the higher end of the market come together and help a family who just needs a basic vehicle,” added OnRamp’s founder, Blake Jennings.
Although the event is sold out, organizers are keeping the online donation portal open for anyone who couldn’t make it and still want to help.
