College Station police arrests 5, searches for 1 suspect in illicit narcotics investigation

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Five suspects were arrested in connection to a narcotics investigation by the College Station Police Department (CSPD), and they’re continuing to search for one more suspect.

According to a press release from CSPD, its special investigations unit began investigating a case “related to the sale of cocaine [and] fraudulently pressed Adderall pills.” The investigation began back in late April, identifying another supplier.

Investigators were able to gather enough evidence to obtain search warrants for several homes along both Bryan and College Station in August.

On Aug. 8, police seized the following narcotics from a College Station residence:

12.4 pounds of marijuana9.7 ounces of cocaine1.5 ounces of MDMA in multiple forms900 fraudulently pressed Adderall pills600 fraudulently pressed Xanax pills1 ounce of psilocybin mushrooms70 THC vape cartridgesa small amount of ketamine.

In turn, five suspects were arrested in connection to the seizure.

Daegin Hamilton, 21, of Bryan is booked in the Brazos County Jail on charges including three counts of Manufacturing and Delivering a Controlled Substance, as well as Possession of Marijuana. His bond is set at $44,000.

Kate-Lynn Lindeman, 20, of Whitney, is booked in the Brazos County Jail on an Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity charge. Her bond is set at $25,000.

Alexander Welch, 27, of Temple is booked in the Brazos County Jail on a Possession of Marijuana charge. His bond is set at $12,000.

Zakary Webb, 19, of College Station is booked in the Brazos County Jail on charges including two counts of Manufacturing and Delivering a Controlled Substance, as well as Possession of Marijuana. His bond is set at $45,000.

Cayden Carroll, 23, of College Station is booked in the Brazos County Jail on two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond is set at $13,000.

Cooper Currie, 28, of Bryan remains outstanding. Police have a warrant for his arrest for charges including three counts of Manufacturing and Delivering a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Engaging in Organized Crime.
