Former ILTexas teacher indicted on Sexual Assault of a Child charge
BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A Brazos County grand jury handed up an indictment for a former teacher accused of sexually assaulting a child.
The incident allegedly occurred last year at College Station’s International Leadership of Texas K-8 campus.
Jose Adrian Hernandez Grimaldo, a former Spanish teacher at the school, is accused of sexually assaulting a sixth-grade student in a bathroom.
He was arrested in May 2024. At the time, he was teaching at an ILTexas campus in North Texas. Hernandez Grimaldo was terminated from his job after the arrest.
He’s charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and remains in Brazos Valley custody on a $200,000 bond.
