Bryan-College Station foster care support group looking for fundraiser sponsors
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A Bryan-College Station foster care support group is getting ready for its annual Jurassic Jam fundraiser.
John’s Boys BCS is hosting its Jurassic Jam fifth Birthday Bash on October 19.
It’s being held at the Castlegate II Event Center – 4205 Norwich Drive in College Station – from 1 to 4 p.m. Attendees can expect games, food, a silent auction, and more.
John’s Boys’ mission is to provide assistance, resources, and additional support to the local foster community.
In addition to working with other organizations in the foster community, one resource it focuses on is GoBags, which include supplies that foster parents will need when they are called to pick up a child.
John’s Boys is looking for sponsors so that foster care families can attend the Jurassic Jam. People can also donate directly to a GoBag, which costs $40 to create.
