Bryan woman connected to fatal shooting turns herself in to police
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A 22-year-old Bryan woman connected to the fatal shooting death of another 22-year-old woman turned herself in to police on Wednesday.
A warrant for Dequajna Johnson, 22, was issued on Tuesday on a charge for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Johnson turned herself in the following day.
The Bryan Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim in the 700 block of Dansby Street after 9 p.m. Monday where they discovered a young woman who was shot. Keianna Hines, 22, was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Johnson is being held in the Brazos County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
