College Station man linked to at least 7 vehicle burglaries over the weekend

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A College Station man accused of breaking into multiple vehicles over the weekend is now in police custody.

According to reports from the Bryan Police Department (BPD), officers witnessed Conner Zaragoza, 22, breaking into vehicles in the Alamosa Springs neighborhood near the Brazos County Expo Complex during an investigation on Sunday.

After stopping his vehicle about a mile-and-a-half away from the neighborhood, officers said they located multiple firearms which were reportedly stolen.

During a warrant search of Zaragoza’s home, BPD’s Directed Deployment team uncovered six firearms and items stolen from at least seven different vehicle burglaries.

Conner Zaragoza faces three counts of Theft of Firearm charges, two counts of Burglary of Vehicles, and a single count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He’s being held on an $85,000 bond at the Brazos County Jail.
