Treat of the Day: College Station McDonald’s employees receive surprise graduation party
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Two College Station McDonald’s employees were surprised with a graduation party Wednesday.
Chris and Scarlett Morris graduated from a program McDonald’s and Colorado Technical University created.
They received tuition assistance through McDonald’s Archways to Opportunity program. This program helps employees and students make pursuing a degree financially achievable.
In a statement, the local McDonald’s wrote:
“Our people are the heart of our restaurants, and we’re so proud of Chris and Scarlett have accomplished,” said Jeanie Smith, local McDonald’s Owner/Operator. “We’re thrilled to celebrate their graduation from CTU today, showcasing what can happen when you work hard and get a little support from those around you.”
