Zeitman’s Grocery Store in Bryan is donating a portion of its sales throughout the month of August to help support Brazos Valley Veterans and their families.

The Meshuggeneh is a triple-decker sandwich spotlighting pastrami, corned beef, and roast beef spread between three pieces of fresh baked seeded rye bread and slathered with house made Russian dressing and Caplansky’s Deli Old Fashioned Whole Grain Deli Mustard.

This is the ninth annual Delicatessen Month, and in a special update Canada has been added to celebrate this year. The month of observance was founded in 2016 to celebrate and highlight the best of Jewish deli cuisine while donating a portion of participating delis’ proceeds to a worthwhile cause.
