College Station police investigating shooting that left 17-year-old dead
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – College Station police are investigating a shooting that left a 17-year-old dead.
According to a post on social media, an officer found the teen boy with gunshot wounds on the corner of University Oaks Blvd. and George Bush Dr. late Sunday night.
Police say the officer rendered aid until firefighters arrived and he was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Investigators reported getting several 9-1-1 calls about gunshots in the area. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact College Station police at 979-764-3600.
