Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial accepting additions to Wall of Honor

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Do you have a beloved Veteran you’d like to honor? The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial (BVVM) is accepting new additions to its Wall of Honor.

The Veteran whose name is being added may be living, deceased, or active, and does not need to be a Brazos Valley resident.

The cost is $250 per name to cover engraving and lifetime maintenance.

The BVVM is a 12-acre site dedicated to Veterans from our nation’s major wars. That includes life-sized statues, interpretive panels, memorial sites, and a Wall of Honor featuring more than 6,600 names.

Notable names include 24 presidents and former Texas A&M University students who received the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military award.

The deadline to add names to be recognized in the BVVM November 11 Veterans Day ceremony is August 15.
