Bedias man killed in Grimes County crash Tuesday

BEDIAS, Texas (KBTX) – A Bedias man was killed in a Grimes County crash Tuesday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

They say it happened around 6 p.m. on Crossroad Drive, about 15 minutes northeast of Bedias.

A Cadillac SUV was traveling westbound on the road, towards the County Road 131 intersection. Troopers say the vehicle continued straight, went through a fence and hit a tree.

The driver, 57-year-old Michael Gardner, of Bedias, was pronounced dead at the scene.
