‘I just thank God I’m back in this space’: Glitz-N-Glory Glam Boutique reopens after year-long closure
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – After a year, a downtown Bryan store known for its fashion and bling will reopen.
The Glitz-N-Glory Glam Boutique closed in May 2023 and is set to reopen Saturday at 10 a.m. in its original space at 427 South Main Street in downtown Bryan.
“I just thank God I’m back in this space,” owner Markeacha Allen said. “I kept the faith, I kept doing by pop-up shops. I’m just glad to be back in this space, and we’re ready to go.”
The boutique was updated with new paint and displays during the closure, but the same great fashion can be expected.
Allen’s store specializes in clothing for men and women. A majority of Allen’s dresses and t-shirts can be customized with a heat press like the one below:
“I can make anything,” Allen said.
To elevate the looks even more, Allen has a variety of unique accessories including sunglasses, earrings, and bracelets.
The store’s motto is “dare to be different,” and Allen told KBTX she hopes to help each customer create looks that make them stand out and feel their most confident.
“Just step out, try something different,” Allen added.
