Bryan police investigating two possible DWI-related crashes

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Bryan Police Department is investigating two possible DWI-related crashes that resulted in damaged property.

The most recent happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Margaret Street.

Police arrested Christopher Martinez on a DWI charge after he reportedly drove his pickup truck into a house. Nobody in the home was hurt.

Martinez told officers on the scene that he consumed three beers and two mixed drinks at a bar in Bryan prior to the wreck.

Another Bryan man was arrested on a DWI charge after he reportedly drove his car into a parked SUV outside a home on Barak Lane. This wreck happened Saturday night.

The owner of the parked vehicle told KBTX that a child seat and booster seats in the family’s vehicle were damaged and needed to be replaced.

Police arrested Alex Lopez-Rivera on a DWI charge related to that crash.
