Nonprofit registration open for 6th annual Brazos Valley Gives
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Brazos Valley nonprofits can now register to participate in Brazos Valley Gives, a month-long community giving effort.
Brazos Valley citizens and businesses are encouraged to ‘give where you live’ and donate to support participating nonprofits. All donations go directly to the donor’s charity of choice. This year’s goal for Brazos Valley Gives is $1.5M with 170 nonprofits participating.
The effort culminates in 18 hours of online giving on the third Tuesday of October.
The Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley’s 6th annual Brazos Valley Gives is officially set for Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Nonprofits can register at brazosvalleygives.org. The deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 6.
There is a $150 registration fee. Nonprofits that have an endowment at the Community Foundation are eligible for a discounted fee of $50. According to the Community Foundation, the fee is used for administrative-related giving day expenses, including the marketing and promotion of the event.
Nonprofits that register by noon on Friday, Aug. 2, will be eligible for a $500 Early Bird Registration Prize.
