College Station lineman injured on the job expected to be released from hospital
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The College Station Utilities lineman critically injured on the job last week is expected to be released from a Houston hospital.
The incident occurred on June 24 while working on electrical equipment near the Carter Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant when a high-voltage electric shock injured him.
A spokesperson for the City of College Station told KBTX the lineman’s condition is no longer life-threatening and he is expected to be discharged later this week.
“At this time the family would like to remain anonymous. The lineman and his family thank everyone for their prayers,” the statement reads.
