Foxfire neighborhood to host annual 4th of July parade
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – It’s that time of year again, and the Foxfire neighborhood is hosting its annual 4th of July parade.
Kimberly McAdams, the Foxfire HOA President, joined First News at Four on Monday to discuss the festivities.
“The parade part will start promptly at 9 a.m., so we asked people to be there by about 8:30 a.m. to kick off our opening ceremonies. We start with the Pledge of Allegiance, then we sing the Star Spangled Banner and then we actually post the Constitution, and Declaration of Independence,” she said.
The parade is for bikes and trikes officially, but McAdams said the event is open to anything with wheels.
“We have wagons and strollers, there will be some golf carts every once in a while, antique cars. And we’ve even had horses show up at some point,” she said.
There will be some refreshments available for those who attend.
