TxDOT holding additional open houses for I-14 project in June, July
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Texas Department of Transportation is looking for public feedback on the I-14 Central Texas Corridor, an interstate highway expected to go through the Brazos Valley.
I-14 is expected to follow US 190 eastward from Rogers in Bell County to Huntsville in Walker County.
TxDOT Bryan District is currently studying the feasibility of the future interstate, as well as evaluating plans for Loop I-214 around the cities of Bryan and College Station.
The study is still in its early stages, with TxDOT looking to get the word out to the public and collect input.
Through out the months of June and July, TxDOT will be hosting another round of open houses for the I-14 Central Texas Corridor Study. The meetings will all be come-and-go from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with both in-person and virtual options. All six open houses will contain the same study information and exhibits.
