Somerville man wanted for multiple tire thefts in Brazos County taken into custody

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – A Somerville man is facing charges related to a string of rim and tire thefts across Brazos County and in Burleson County.

The crimes happened over a period of 8 days in June last year, according to a police arrest report.

Police say Tevin Devault, 25, is linked to tire and rim thefts that occurred at two apartment complexes in Bryan, an apartment complex in College Station, and another set at a residence on Leon Street in Bryan.

Devault is also suspected of targeting two homes in Snook during the same time period.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Devault was booked into the Brazos County Detention Center on June 11, 2024, and is charged with Theft of Property $2,500 – $30,000. His bond is set at $100,000.

The arrest report says a search of Devault’s cell phone also revealed he may be linked to tire thefts in Houston, Hempstead, and Cypress.
