Additional patrolling around Hensel Park following tip about ‘suspicious activity’
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – The Texas A&M Police Department says they have increased patrols around the area of College Station’s Hensel Park.
It comes after they received an anonymous tip on Wednesday, June 12 that two men were tying to “lure underage high school kids into the wooded area of Hensel Park for sexual intercourse.”
It is unclear if the person who gave the tip saw the two suspects in person or how they had knowledge of the incident.
Police say officers checked the area and didn’t see any suspicious activity, but they are asking anyone with information to contact them at 979-845-2345.
