Free Music Friday: The Nomads
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – With roots spanning from Texas to France, this eclectic band was born out of a shared passion for creating edgy and powerful music.
The Nomads sound is influenced by its members and characterized by Rock, R&B, and Jazz.
Chloé Hession and Jean-Luc Wilkins joined First News at Four to discuss their performance tonight and how the band formed.
Wilkins said the group met right here in Aggieland.
“We all met in college and by coincidence Chloé and I talked in French. So we kind of bonded over that right away, because we don’t get to speak French with anybody here. And then we had the same love of music and that’s how it all came about,” he said.
Hession said the performance tonight will be a little bit of everything.
“I think you can expect a lot of different music. Some slow songs, but also pretty heavy stuff. Total anarchy,” she said.
Their performance tonight at The Grand Stafford is free to attend and begins at 5:30 p.m.
