Bush Library’s “The Spirit of the Place” exhibit opens Monday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – In conjunction with the 41@100: A Celebration of George H.W. Bush, the George H.W. Bush Library & Museum will open its newest exhibit.

“The Spirit of the Place” opens Monday, June 10 and will run through March 30, 2025.

From the initial conversations to place the Bush Library & Museum at Texas A&M University, to the full development of the Bush Presidential Center, visitors will discover how President Bush and his ongoing legacy are intertwined with the Spirit of Aggieland.

“The Spirit of the Place” explores the many ways George and Barbara Bush supported the community that embraced them with open arms.

Using artifacts, documents, photographs, and other materials, visitors will get a never-before-seen look at George Bush’s vision for creating a world-class cultural institution dedicated to public service right here in the heart of Texas.
