StageCenter Theatre presents “The Rainmaker”
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Love and laughter are in the forecast at StageCenter Theatre.
A live theatrical production of “The Rainmaker” opens Thursday, May 30, and runs through Saturday, June 15.
The romantic comedy is set in the 1930s out West during the Great Depression and a drought.
A man comes selling promises of rain and romance. A man, hurt by the world, begins his journey toward normalcy and the woman who knows what she wants in life, or thinks she knows is courted by both.
Amid the drought, heat, and suffering cattle — whose dreams of love will come true?
“The Rainmaker”, directed by Jay Thompson, is playing May 30 through June 15 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 at 2 p.m.)
