Homes evacuated near Franklin due to propane tank fire
FRANKLIN, Texas (KBTX) – Homes in Roberston County near Franklin were evacuated Thursday due to a propane tank fire, according to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire was reported just before noon in the 3800 block of N. FM 46 south of the Franklin city limits.
A 1,000-gallon propane tank caught fire and as a precaution, homes within a half-mile radius of the fire were evacuated.
Multiple fire agencies responded to the scene to assist.
