Officer-involved shooting in Montgomery County
NEW CANEY, Texas (KBTX) – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said there was an officer-involved shooting Tuesday morning.
A post on the sheriff’s department’s Facebook said the shooting involved a Precinct 4 Constables Deputy in the 21100 block of American Yellowwood Place in Porter.
According to the post, the sheriff’s office said a suspect is in custody at the hospital and there is no threat to the public.
A press conference is planned for noon, we will update this story with more information as it becomes available
