College Station woman celebrates her 100th birthday
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A Brazos Valley woman reached a major milestone Monday. On May 13, 2024, Frances Casey turned 100-years-old.
Her friends and family surprised her with a party at Sodalis College Station, the assisted living facility she’s a resident at. There were decorations, cupcakes and lots of smiles.
Casey says it’s almost unbelievable she’s turning 100. The centenarian shared what she says is her secret to living such a long life.
“Be happy, make plans the next day to be as happy as the day you just went through and always have a good time with your friends,” said Casey.
She says she wants everybody to have a great birthday when their turn comes around.
