Yet another round of storms brings hail on Mother’s Day
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – We wasted no time getting the rain and storm party started this morning as residents in Robertson County dealt with their latest round of heavy rain and hail.
Many viewers in Franklin reported up to marble sized hail. This was from the same storm that produced closer to golf ball sized in Killeen early Sunday, and continued into the Brazos Valley and all the way to the I-45 corridor.
Additional thunderstorms are expected before the end of the day. Both Severe Thunderstorm and Flood Watches are in effect for a large portion of the area. Keep with KBTX and your KBTX Weather app, as more strong storms are possible to start the work week.
