Purple Turtle Art Studio shares creative Mother’s Day gift ideas

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Mother’s Day is Sunday, but you shouldn’t worry if you haven’t found the perfect gift.

You may want to consider making it.

That’s why LeAnn Hale, the owner of the Purple Turtle Art Studio, joined BVTM Wednesday to share ideas.

Handmade gifts are just as special as something bought from a store, according to Hale.

“You freeze that moment in time with those kids, so a mom looks back on that and you can think about what they looked like then and the way they spoke,” Hale said.

The art studio owner shared how to make magnets, flowers, cards, and a reverse glass painting.

You can see Hale walk through each below.
