Brazos County project manager presents details on Expo center issues

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – There will be some major updates coming to improve issues with Brazos County Expo facilities.

During Commissioner’s Court Tuesday, Project Manager Trevor Lansdown displayed several pictures documenting wear and tear on the property. The issues include old pipes, HVAC, roofing and sidewalks.

“Brazos County did build several buildings in a tighter window, so I think we’re gonna see a lot of these bigger mechanical items and site infrastructure issues pop up in the next few years,” said Lansdown.

The current rough estimate for the issues is around $10 million in repairs, not including roof work.

Lansdown says he and the architects have meetings coming up in the next few weeks to asses more issues with the buildings.
