Flooding closes Highway 30 bridge over the Navasota River

GRIMES COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – TxDOT says that a bridge on Highway 30 over the Navasota River in Grimes County has been closed due to flooding Sunday night.

The closure begins at William D. Fitch Parkway and happened around 8 p.m. The highway goes through Roans Prairie as well as Shiro.

According to TxDOT, they will try to reopen the bridge Monday morning around 5:30 a.m. or 6 a.m.
