Registration open for City of Bryan summer camps for kids

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – Summer is just around the corner and the City of Bryan Parks and Recreation Department is ready to keep your kids busy.

Camp HERO and NRC Summer Camp, are geared toward kids ages 5-12 and run from June to August. Camp HERO will be located at Sul Ross Elementary, while NRC Summer Camp will be at Neal Recreation Center.

Participants can enjoy a full day of activities such as arts and crafts, field trips, swimming, and age-appropriate games. Activities will be based off of weekly themes and field trips include trips to Bryan Aquatic Center, Bryan Premiere Cinema, Jumping World and more.

Summer camps are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will begin Monday, June 3 and go until Friday, August 2.

The registration fee for Camp HERO is $30 for a single participant and $40 per family, while there is no registration fee for NRC Summer Camp.

The weekly fee for Camp HERO is $125 per person and $115 for an additional child. Some weeks will vary based on field trips. The session fee for NRC Summer Camp I and II is $65 residents and $75 for non-residents.
