College Station FamilySearch to host Family Discovery Day
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – College Station FamilySearch is working to connect families with a Family Discovery Day. On Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to noon, at 100 Dexter Drive in College Station.
The event is free and everyone is welcome. Noel Gomillion with College Station FamilySearch said it’s helpful if people can bring a cell phone or laptop. “You can do all of the research, even on just a cell phone, and then any information that people have about their parents or their grandparents to be able to build out their tree would be fantastic.”
The FamilySearch Center is a free resource to help anyone discover their heritage.
“We love helping people with their family history,” Gomillion said. “It’s so much fun to see the joy that people get from learning about their past, their ancestors.”
