Thursday: 6th annual Missing In The Brazos Valley Day observation event in Bryan
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley wishes to invite elected officials, law enforcement representatives, and family members of the missing to the 6th Annual Missing In The Brazos Valley observation that will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the offices of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments located at 3991 E 29th St, Bryan, TX, 77802.
The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be streamed on the Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley’s Facebook page here.
The featured speaker will be Jo Ann Lowitzer, whose 16-year-old daughter Alexandria Joy Lowitzer went missing from Spring, TX on April 26, 2010. She will discuss Ali’s case as well as the importance of appropriate response to all reports of missing children and the value of partnerships between local law enforcement and non-governmental missing persons organizations like the Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley, Texas Center for the Missing and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
During this event, a proclamation signed by the County Judges from Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington counties will be presented that declares Friday, April 26, 2024, as “Missing In The Brazos Valley Day”.
