BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -Every April 22 for the past 54 years, the world has celebrated the Earth.
On Earth Day, people come together to keep the Earth as a thriving and functioning planet for generations to come.
Locally, there are a few things you can do to pitch in like picking up litter. This is just one focus of Keep Brazos Beautiful.
“We have litter kits whether it’s a one-time event or if you want to schedule with us all the time as an organization, as a business or just as a family,” said Caroline Ask, a board member of Keep Brazos Beautiful.
All the supplies you need are provided.
Volunteers are needed to help keep the community green and clean. The organization is looking for extra hands for the summer when students leave the area.
Keep Brazos Beautiful focuses on litter control, recycling, education and outreach.
