Bryan police investigating shooting

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Bryan Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday morning in a residential area.

It happened in the 4500 block of Woodbend Drive between Creekwood Drive and Conquest Circle.

Sources tell KBTX’s Rusty Surette a woman shot her husband during a domestic dispute.

The victim suffered a non-life-threatening wound and was treated and released from the hospital.

Stephanie Arevalo was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault/Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon.

The investigation is ongoing, said police.
