Rotary Club of College Station to host Mulligans for a Mission
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Rotary Club of College Station is gearing up for its biggest fundraiser of the year.
Mulligans for a Mission is happening on Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Big Shots Aggieland, where participants can enjoy golf, dinner, drinks and fellowship.
If you bring a new children’s book to donate to Books and a Blanket, you’ll get a Mulligan!
News Three’s Sports Director Darryl Bruffett will participate in the Wack a Celebrity event. He’ll ride in a ball retrieval cart and golfers can hit golf balls at him. The more balls that hit the cart, the more money raised for the fundraiser.
The Rotary Club of College Station supports literacy and children. Mulligans for a Mission will help fund their Clothing for Kids event, where 100 local children are taken on a shopping trip for new clothes at Christmas.
