Young Life on upcoming Clay Shoot fundraiser

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – It’s less than a month away from a unique way to help the Young Life program continue to spread its word and mission.

Tim Rhome and Taylor Quesada from Young Life Brazos Valley joined First News at Four on Wednesday to discuss their clay shoot.

Rhome said getting involved in the shoot in any way helps the fundraiser.

“We have a multitude of needs. If you just want to come out and volunteer, if you’d like to sponsor a shooting station that’s an option, or if you want to come in and get a team or compete as an individual,” he said.

Quesada explained that the Young Life organization has been part of this community for a long time, and hopes it continues on.

“It’s been in the Brazos Valley for almost 50 years. We’re an outreach ministry that befriends middle school, high school, and college kids in hope of sharing the Gospel with them,” she said.
