AMCHS Young Farmer Steak Dinner to benefit scholarships

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – On Friday April 12, the A&M Consolidated High School Future Farmers of America chapter will host a steak dinner at the Brazos County Expo.

The Young Farmer Steak Dinner will help raise money to support the efforts of the AMCHS FFA and scholarships for FFA students.

“As a senior myself, I have really seen how expensive college is and having that support from your FFA club where you’ve spent so much time the past four years kind of gives you that readiness to go into college and be successful,“ Mallory Zumwalt, the President of AMCHS Young Farmer said.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and will include a live auction. “There are all sorts of things to fit anyone’s wants,” Zumwalt said, adding there will even be items handmade by students.

in addition to a live auction and the meal, live music will be performed by Molly McDonald.
