Legend Events Center hosting Easter Market Saturday
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – You might know Legends Event Center from one of the many tournaments the facility in Bryan has hosted since opening in 2022, but they also host a number of non-sports related events.
This Saturday, the event center hosts its first-ever Easter Market.
Mitchell Isbell and Summer Barfield from Legends Event Center joined First News at Four on Monday and said this is an excellent way to have some fun on a weekend and to support local businesses.
“We’re gonna have jewelry, baked goods, apparel, home decor, and everything in between,” said Barfield.
She also mentioned the need for a facility like this for small businesses is apparent, especially as the weather heats up.
”I knew I wanted to bring a market indoors. Vendors want more local stops, without having to travel. The fact that we’re also an indoor facility so they’re not stuck outside in the heat, they were drawn to that,” said Barfield.
The market is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Legends Event Center, and it is free to attend.
