Houston ends Texas A&M’s season in overtime thriller 100-95
MEMPHIS, Tennessee (KBTX) – The Texas A&M men’s basketball team saw its season come to an end on Sunday night following a 100-95 overtime loss to Houston in the 2nd round of the South Regional on Sunday evening at FedExForum.
The Aggies rallied from a 13 point deficit in the 2nd half to send it to overtime when Andersson Garcia hit a three pointer at the end of regulation to tie the game at 86.

Texas A&M was outscored in the extra period 14-9.
While the Aggies outrebounded the Cougars in the game 49-35, they shot 64% (29-45) from the free throw line. Those 16 missed free throws played a big role in Aggies coming up short.
Tyrece Radford lead the Aggies with 27 points. Wade Taylor added 21 after scoring only 1 point in the first half and missing his first 7 field goals. Manny Obaseki tossed in 15.

The Cougars got a game high 30 points from Emanuel Sharp while Jamal Schead had 21 and L.J. Cryer added 20.
Texas A&M ends its season at 21-15, while Houston (32-4) advances to the Sweet Sixteen in Dallas and will take on Duke in round three.
