HEMPSTEAD, Texas (KBTX) – A ceremony was held Wednesday to celebrate the groundbreaking on the new Waller County Courthouse.
According to the county, the new courthouse is designed to accommodate growth in staff and county needs. They building is designed to last for over 80 years.
Construction for the $32 million project is estimated to take about 18 months.
