Brazos County woman arrested, charged with forging multiple checks
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A Brazos County woman is in custody accused of forging checks.
According to CSPD, Lyanna Henderson, 21, and another suspect attempted to cash a forged check at Amarillo National Bank in College Station In July 2023.
Henderson was arrested for this incident but was later released on bond.
After an investigation police found that Henderson had repeatedly forged checks on multiple occasions.
She stole money from elderly people and businesses taking more than $11,000 in total, said police.
Henderson is charged with 3 counts of forgery and is being held on a $65,000 bond.
