Still Creek Stampede set for Friday & Saturday

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – It’s time for some buckles to get handed out and all for a great cause.

Still Creek Ranch is putting on their annual Still Creek Stampede, a PRCA Rodeo, at the Brazos County Expo this Friday and Saturday, March 15th & 16th.

“We’re going to have everything from bull riding to breakaway and barrel racing. We have ten action-packed events. These are the same cowboys and cowgirls you’re seeing in Houston, San Antonio, and of course, once they leave our rodeo they’re headed to Austin,” said Chante Smith, the Assistant Executive Director at Still Creek Ranch.

Smith said that some of the best female bronco-riders in the country are scheduled to participate.

“With the code ‘KIDS’ online, you can get a free kids ticket. We’re all about kids down at Still Creek so we want to bless families to come out and enjoy the rodeo this weekend,” said Smith.

You can purchase tickets at Catalena Hatters, Cavenders or online. Tickets will also be sold at the ticket window on Friday and Saturday starting at noon. Gates open each night at 6 p.m. with rodeo action beginning at 7 p.m.
